I have aquired a couple acres or so of land and we are looking for a few people to help get a small micro farm started and running. There are three of us so far. We have a background in hydropnics and hydrosolar , heating air conditining or (climate control) and our third person is a fabricator and prior chcicken and goat farmer.

We are going after a non certified organic concept. All our facilitys will be housed in green houses built specifically for what ever will grow in it from chickens to plants and fish to goats etc. Were are just starting out and ready to break ground on the first poly hoop green house. Will be building with heat and lights to offset the winter and fall to keep production levels up and even through all the seasons.



What were really looking for is a few people with enough free time to help with every thing from design ideas to actaully working with the plants and animlas. We all will take a equal share of the food and have input on what and when to grow items. We are building a perpetial green house and it will provide fresh fruits and vegetable year around as well as eggs polutry and most likely goat or fish meat.

Will be creating a network in the communtiy to sell our extra products to cover all our expenses. We are only looking to supply ourselves with as much food as our faimly can use and what ever it takes to pay for our supply's and electric bill.

As times get harder for some and food prices keep rising and geting more and more ingerdents i can't pronounce. We have decide to take our food chain back from the super markets and big corparations.

We are not actvists or trying to make a statment that is anything more than we want to farm our own food. We expect this will cut our food bills by at least half in the first year and then bring them to almost zero in the second year. We wont be growing absoultly everything as you'll still want other things in season not to mention ketch up and all that jazz with bread and so fourth but it will be the major bulk of what you consume.

Its going to be a great time as well if your retired or have a family. I cant imagine how much people and kids can learn from modern high tech organic growing. If your interested send me a little about you and your experience. Where not sure how many people will need and it wont be many. You'll need a little desposable income at first maybe a 100 or so a month as were building and paying as we go. Were all paying evenly and all very smart and thrifty as we all enjoy fabricating most everything. The facilty is actually very easy to build and very inexpesive at around 10 to 15 dollars a foot in lenght 20 ft wide or so. (30 ft long structure is about $300 plus what you put in it) and we also have already aquired a lot of the stff. Your going to need or want to make this your newest hobby and give a whole day once a week to it or more.

If your curiuos I found mikes web page on line to be simple and close to what we are doing. he doenst have fish or chickens but they will become a part of our eco system. Our facility is much larger becuase we will have so many more varieties of plant and animals but you can see how mikes green house would compare with or construction. each plant will have its own structure of say 20 by 30ft. read up on hydrponics rasing chickens goats and aquaponics for fish. if your able to contribute we would love to correspond with you.
