To go green or to go home. That is the question?

I debated for some time now to even put any electric car info or videos up here on my site. Let me be clear here on electric cars! They don't work well enough for any one to own one yet for the amount of materials and energy they take to build and create.
When a new power supply is found that can give a 500 mile plus range to a 4 seat vehicle that can travel at 70 mph and be re fueled in some way as it to be as easy as going to a gas station. Then and only then do we need to even look at electric power.
Right now its about 30 miles give or take (PLEASE REMEMBER THAT IS ONE WAY THEN YOU NEED TO RECHARGE TO GO HOME) I want to thank all of you out there buying hybrids for stopping the development of what we really need. Every time you buy one of these so called green cars like the Prius or Escalade your just sending the corporations a message they can offer a vehicle that actually doesn't do what we need or want. Yes you hybrid owners are the problem. If you stop buying this junk they will find what we really need much sooner. Just my opinion
How can I say this!? Well lets take a car built in 1990 that can get 50 plus mpg and lets take a car built today that averages about 45mpg that is a hybrid (Toyota? Ford? Chevy? Honda? etc. ) the latter vehicles are currently running about $45k real dollars with the government funding huge sums of cash tax advantage and science into them at our cost. I read that Prius should retail if paid for by only Toyota around $125k a unit. Or think of it this way if you don't own one in your garage your paying for the one in your neighbors garage. But if you drive your Geo Metro you get better mileage even with out an electric power plant. The government is not spending millions on development of something that we don't need and does not work for our current actual needs. Why? because we have not hung a Congressman or Senator for over spending our treasure on there local pet projects trying to get checks written for re election.
If you wish to be truly green recycle a Geo Metro. There is no other way to get the MPG and there is no way to use so little energy than to reuse what we currently have. Plus it's about a $40,000.00 savings directly in your pocket. think of it as the biggest tax kick back you will ever get until you run for Congress.
