My journey's begin on the great rivers and bays of the Pacific Northwest.
Here as I build this web site I will chronicle the exciting and fun trips as well as some of the more interesting aspects of what can go very right as well as incredibly wrong while traveling by amphibious craft.
I operate with a small but dedicated group of enthusiasts. This group is some what scattered from the Oregon Trail to the Islands of Washington (both the south and north islands) to the great state of Idaho. This is a creative bunch and everyone of them has a unique and creatively constructed machine. From single seat machines to a half dozen passengers or so depending on the weather.
I myself live in the Cascade mountains of Northwest Washington State. Here many of my trips begin and end in the high mountainous rivers. I like to and almost specialize in running white water rivers such as the SAUK RIVER that drains into the mighty Skagit river. Just a hour from my front door I can reach by trailer many wonderful launch ramps that are mostly hover friendly. These range from fresh water lakes to Puget Sound (Salish Sea) itself.
