Stuff you may want? Or stuff you can build yourself!

GOT GLASS? You should if you want a wiper motor and windshield washer fluid.

When constructing you'll find glass to be heavier than lexan. the flip side is lexan is usually more in  money but it scratches and wipers don't really work on it because of this. I'm all for windscreens that keep the air completely off you if you don't have a cabin. Lets blow out the wiper myth right away. Wipers are needed for normal operation especially in those UH style crafts.  Not just for rain lets face it most of you are not't out adventuring hundreds of miles at a time. But really anything will spray at some point out the side of the skirt. This is where a wiper comes in to play. The windscreen needs to be kept clean with the wiper and also water sprayers to help wash off the dry salt or minerals in the water. I'm a firm believer that if you have a glass windscreen installed with a wiper you will be able to make that transition to a full cabin and become an adventure cruiser instead of treating your craft like a beater jet ski. Don't do an aluminum glass frame, make the frame out of the hull material so its easy to add the cabin later and the windshield won't need to be rebuilt.

Defrost, heat, A/C and a full cabin.

You have to have a cabin unless you live somewhere that it does not't rain and if its hot and sunny you need a biminie. But for the northwest you have to have a cabin. with heat and defrost. I recommend a/c as well even on the smallest craft. No reason a scout can't have a cabin it ways almost nothing and a a/c pump running off the back side of the prop shaft through a belt and pulley or just direct drive off the prop shaft. The area would be so small that a small car heating and a/c box would work slick up under the dash. Then your cruising all year round in comfort.

Here in Washington its very difficult to operate with out a good defrost system. The more people on board the better the defrost needs to be.

There is no reason you can't have reverse in the water on your sevtec hovercraft!

This link will take you to an entire new idea of controlling your hovercraft in close in operations such as docks, fueling, people in the water. and possibly take home power if a belt is lost or the distance to the dock is within your battery power.

This video shows a boat being driven with these small light weight powerful motors. http://www.lencomarine.com/Trolln%20Tabs%20New%20Pages/movietnt-ld.html

A foot control or joy stick is a great way to run the craft as well as the hand held remote control. I imagine your craft parked at a dock space you can see and pulling out your remote control and just driving it to you. Or a little extra help loading it at he ramp. Just drive it over and to the trailer so you can hook the winch line up. Now you can operate in marinas just like other vessels with any fear of not being able to back up. With twin engines you can turn the craft in a 360 degree rotation hold in currents. This option will make hovercraft very main stream and safer than ever.

Use a tape measure and make sure you can fit at least one cooler in  as large as possible for BEER. Then get a second cooler just as big and bungee to the other cooler and  fill it with beer just as a margin of safety.
